Milton Icehawks forward Alex Riche (photo credit - Timothy T. Ludwig/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Princeton University Tigers beginning with the 2015-16 ECAC season.

The Oakville, Ontario native entered the 2014-15 OJHL season as one of the Icehawks 'Go-To' guys after a tremendously successful 2013-14 rookie season as a 17-year old.  A product of the Toronto Red Wings GTHL program, Riche spent the 2012-13 season playing midget hockey in his hometown for the Rangers, while getting his first taste of Junior 'A' action by getting the call for one game with the Oakville Blades.

Playing in all 52 games for Milton last season, the talented playmaker finished second on the club with 36 assists and fourth in overall scoring with 56 points, while seeing key special teams minutes and racking up 20 power play points.  His play earned Riche selection as an OJHL 1st Team All-Prospect and he would tally another two points in his first taste of junior playoff action.  Thus far this season, Riche has continued to improve his reputation and leads the Icehawks in scoring with 12 goals and 22 points in 15 contests, ranking him seventh and twelfth respectively in the entire OJHL.

Congratulations to Alex and best of luck the rest of the way!
