Central Canada Hockey League Announces Staff for Central Canada Cup All-Star Challenge held in Toronto, November 14-16
The CCHL is proud to announce the selection of the coaching and training staff of the two entries in the 4th Annual Central Canada Cup All-Star Challenge.
Heading Team Robinson is Carleton Place Canadians Coach and General Manager Jason Clarke. As defending league champions and RBC Cup finalists the Canadians continue to lead the CCHL and are currently ranked 4th in the CJHL national rankings.
Clarke will be assisted by Kemptville 73’s Coach Ron Tugnutt and Brockville Braves Head Coach Matt Ward.
Heading Team Yzerman is Pembroke Lumber Kings Coach and General Manager Dale McTavish. Entering his second season after a heartbreaking seven game semi-final loss to eventual Bogart Cup champions, McTavish has assembled another solid roster.
He will be assisted by long time Nepean Raider GM-Coach Peter Goulet and Gloucester Rangers Head Coach Sylvain Favreau.
The training staff for the CCHL teams consists of Nepean Raiders Sheldon Adams and Cumberland Grads’ Richard DuPuy.
The Central Canada Cup All-Star Challenge was founded by the CCHL with the inaugural event held in Smiths Falls. The unique format provides a true best on best all-star event that has provided some the best Junior A hockey anywhere in North America.
Team rosters will be announced on November 1.
