Trenton squeaks by Kingston, 4-3

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Trenton Golden Hawks escaped with a 4-3 victory over the Kingston Voyageurs.
Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Blayne Oliver secured the win for Trenton with a goal in the third period.
The Golden Hawks were sparked by Oliver, who grabbed one goal. Oliver scored 4:41 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Trenton. Zach de Concilys picked up the assist.
Trenton put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Kingston to score on any of its three power plays. The Golden Hawks' offense rang up 39 shots on the Voyageurs' net.
Trenton additionally got points from Danny Liscio, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Trenton included Aidan Parker and Brady Wiffen, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Trenton were Christian DiFelice, Chrisitian Lloyd, Robert Smythe, and Braden Hellems, who contributed one each.
Kingston forced Trenton goalie Justin Kapelmaster to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots.
The Voyageurs were helped by Alex Stothart, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Stothart scored 6:26 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Kingston. Cole Bolton assisted on the tally. Kingston also got points from Bolton, who also registered one goal and one assist. Adam Brady also scored for Kingston. In addition, Kingston received assists from Blake ONeill, Joey Beaudoin, Michael Crocock, and Alex Tonge, who each chipped in one.
Kapelmaster rejected 37 shots on goal for the Golden Hawks. Trenton incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Matt Penta made 35 saves for Kingston on 39 shots. The Voyageurs incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
