CANADA EAST SELECTION CAMP ADDITIONS
OJHL players Taylor Welsh, Niko Kovachis and Brody Morris have been named as replacements for the Team Canada East Selection Camp that is taking place this weekend at Buckingham Arena in Toronto, Ontario.
Welsh, the Wellington Dukes netminder, joins camp to replace Philippe-Alexandre Vinette of the QJHL's Princeville Titans.
Kovachis, a defenceman with the defending champion Toronto Patriots, replaces former Dukes rearguard Justin Bean who is now a member of the OHL's Mississauga Steelheads.
Morris, who recently rejoined the Wellington Dukes from the OHL's Belleville Bulls, replaces David Eccles of the CCHL's Carleton Place Canadians.
Best of the luck to all three, as well as the other 18 OJHL players, who look to make Team Canada East's final roster and compete for gold at the 2014 World Junior 'A' Challenge that is being held from December 14-20 in Kindersley, Saskatchewan.
