Pickering Panthers defenceman Brian Hurley (photo credit - Brian Watts/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Western New England University Golden Bears beginning with the 2015-16 ECAC Northeast season.

The Long Beach, New York native joined the OJHL this season after having spent the past three years in a variety of U.S. junior leagues, playing with the New York Apple Core and Space Coast Hurricanes.  After playing a single game for the USHL's Fargo Force, Hurley joined the Oakville Blades in early September.  However, he would be on the move once again after notching one assist in two games played.  Following a trade to Pickering, Hurley recently tallied his first OJHL goal and sits second among rearguards in scoring on the club with 8 points in 28 games played.

Congratulations to Brian and best of luck as he closes out his junior career this season!
