CONFERENCE SHOWCASES ANNOUNCED
The OJHL announced today that the Trenton Golden Hawks and Toronto Jr. Canadiens will host the North-East Conference and South-West Conference Showcases respectively.
The OJHL Board of Governors unanimously voted to add a second set of Showcase Weekends to the 2015-16 regular season schedule that will see each team play an intra-conference match-up at a single location. Following-up on the successful Governors' Showcase hosted by the Buffalo Jr. Sabres, the Conference Showcases will allow scouts yet another opportunity to see all the league's prospects in one location.
First up on the schedule is the North-East Conference Showcase being hosted by the Trenton Golden Hawks at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Gardens from January 15-17, 2016. The following weekend, the Toronto Jr. Canadiens will host the South-West Conference Showcase from January 22-24, 2106 at the Scotiabank Pond.
