Veteran Vipers defenceman Matt Sollows has confirmed his commitment to join the Wilfrid Laurier University Golden Hawks begining with the 2012-13 OUA season.  The 5'10", 185 lbs. native of Aurora, Ontario joined the Vipers as an 18-year old rookie in 2009-10 and would lead the club's backend in scoring with 35 points in 54 games played.  Last season his numbers would drop slightly to 29  points, but he would confirm a commitment to Plattsburgh State University, an NCAA Division III school.  After starting the year at Plattsburgh, Sollows would only play one game for the University before returning home to join the Vipers for the tail-end of this season, notching eight points in 17 games played.

Congratulations to both Matt's and best of luck as they continue their athletic and academic careers!
