TIMPANO COMMITS TO OSWEGO STATE
Trenton Golden Hawks captain Josh Timpano (photo credit - Amy Deroche/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Oswego State University Lakers beginning with the 2013-14 SUNYAC season.
The 5'10", 185 lbs. native of Orillia, Ontario first joined the OJHL as a member of his hometown Couchiching Terriers, playing two games as an affiliated midget back in 2008-09, as well as four more in the playoffs. He wolud join the club fulltime the following season, notching eight goals and 19 points in 54 games played for the club. After the Terriers suspended operations following the season, Timpano would join the Cambridge Winter Hawks Junior 'B' club for the next two seasons, leading the team in scoring during 2011-12. He then returned to the OJHL with the Golden Hawks this season, taking over the club's captaincy and has been their undisputed leader all season. Timpano currently leads the Hawks with 40 points, while his 27 assists sit place him in the top 20 overal in the OJHL, and although he has only scored 13 goals, he has made them count with five game-winners, tied for third among all players.
